Welcome to NovaVerse Comics! These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the NovaVerse Comics website and services. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our services.
1. Acceptable Use
NovaVerse Comics provides a platform for creating, sharing, and exploring comic universes. You agree to use our services in a manner consistent with all applicable laws and regulations. This includes, but is not limited to:

- Not engaging in any activity that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair our servers or networks.

NovaVerse Comics reserves the right to remove any content that violates these terms and to terminate the accounts of users who repeatedly violate these terms. We also have the right to cooperate with law enforcement authorities in investigating suspected violations of these terms.
2. Intellectual Property
All content on the NovaVerse Comics website, including text, graphics, logos, images, audio clips, video clips, and software, is the property of NovaVerse Comics or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store, or transmit any of the material on our website, except as follows:
- Your computer may temporarily store copies of such materials in RAM incidental to your accessing and viewing those materials.
- You may store files that are automatically cached by your web browser for display enhancement purposes.
- You may print or download one copy of a reasonable number of pages of the website for your own personal, non-commercial use and not for further reproduction, publication, or distribution.

Content created by users on the NovaVerse Comics platform remains the intellectual property of the user, but by posting content on our platform, you grant NovaVerse Comics a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, and display such content on our platform and in connection with our services.
3. Limitation of Liability
NovaVerse Comics is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the operation of our platform or the information, content, materials, or products included on our platform. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, NovaVerse Comics disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
NovaVerse Comics will not be liable for any damages of any kind arising from the use of our platform, including, but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, and consequential damages. This includes damages for loss of profits, revenue, data, or use, incurred by you or any third party, whether in an action in contract, tort, or otherwise, arising from your access to, or use of, our platform.
We do not warrant that our platform will be uninterrupted or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that our platform or the server that makes it available are free of viruses or other harmful components. You are responsible for implementing sufficient procedures and checkpoints to satisfy your particular requirements for anti-virus protection and data input and output accuracy, and for maintaining a means external to our site for any reconstruction of any lost data.
4. Dispute Resolution
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms and Conditions or the use of NovaVerse Comics shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitration shall be conducted in Seattle, Washington. The arbitrator's decision shall be final and binding on all parties. You agree to waive any right to a jury trial in connection with any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms and Conditions or the use of NovaVerse Comics.
Before initiating arbitration, you agree to first contact us at disputes@novaversecomics.com and attempt to resolve the dispute informally. If we are unable to resolve the dispute within thirty (30) days, you may then proceed to arbitration.
5. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
6. Changes to Terms and Conditions
NovaVerse Comics reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. We will post any changes on this page, and the revised Terms and Conditions will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of our platform after the posting of changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms and Conditions. It is your responsibility to review these Terms and Conditions periodically for changes.

8. User-Generated Content Guidelines
Our platform allows users to create and share their own comic universes and characters. To ensure a positive and creative environment, we have established the following guidelines for user-generated content:
- Originality: Content should be original and not infringe upon the copyrights or trademarks of others. Fan fiction and derivative works are allowed, provided they comply with fair use principles and do not violate the rights of the original creators.
- Respectful Content: Content should not promote hate speech, discrimination, or violence against any individual or group. We encourage diverse and inclusive storytelling, but we do not tolerate content that is harmful or offensive.
- Age Appropriateness: Users are responsible for labeling their content with appropriate age ratings. Content that is sexually suggestive, graphically violent, or otherwise inappropriate for younger audiences should be clearly marked.
- Accurate Information: Users should strive to provide accurate and truthful information in their content. Misleading or deceptive content is prohibited.

9. Termination
NovaVerse Comics may terminate your access to all or any part of the platform at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice, effective immediately. If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using the platform. All provisions of these Terms and Conditions which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless NovaVerse Comics, its contractors, and its licensors, and their respective directors, officers, employees and agents from and against any and all claims and expenses, including attorneys’ fees, arising out of your use of the platform, including but not limited to your violation of these Terms and Conditions.
